Review-The Summoning by Kelley Armstrong

Chloe Saunders used to havea pretty normal life. But that changed on the day she met her first ghost. Locked up in Lyle House, a group home for troubled teens, she finds out that there's more to the home's teen residents than meets the eye. Will Chloe be able to uncover the dangerous secrets of Lyle House...or will its skeletons come back to haunt her?

The Summoning is an outstanding book. Throughout the book are led on to believe so many different things. Is Lyle House really a home for troubled teens or is it something else, out of the ordinary? Is the house haunted by a poltergeist? or is something up with Liz. Does Rae have a weird obsession with fire or can she burn things with her bare hands? Lyle House is made out to make you believe that the teens at the house just have mental illnesses like Schizophrenia, Pyromaniac, Bipolar, you name it, somebody at the house probably has it. Kelley has turned an ordinary Teen house into a paranormal sanctuary. Half demons, Necromancers, Werewolves, and sorcerers. It makes you wonder if teen homes actually consist of people that can talk to the dead or do things like create fog with a couple of words.

Once you read The Summoning you will be dying to read the sequel, The Awakening, which is just as amazing as the first book.

Next review is for the book Vampire Kisses by Ellen Shreiber.
